I'm an indie author with a love for writing that blends magic with storytelling, with Fantasy being my favourite genre to read and to write. I enjoy writing in different styles and with different tones, so I will share the flavour of each book (I have more on the way!) through its description and sample so that you can decide if the book is a good match with your tastes.

Although I delight in escaping into wonderful creations of fantasy in worlds of imagination, I do believe that the real beautiful shining magic is the stuff of our every day... breathtaking sunrises, sparkling acts of kindness, miraculous coincidence, the lush smell and beauty of a forest, the power of laughter to bond, the power of love to heal.

I've always loved the thought that each of our actions and interactions have ripples of effect that reach far beyond that which we are privy to witness. The Tales of Dert books are my way of trying to capture this magical weaving of interconnection. Although each of the books will be a standalone novel, they will all have characters and actions that reverberate amongst them.

Calgary, Alberta is the place I call home where I live with my lovely family. It is a city of so many wonderful people from so many wonderful places, within easy reach of our spectacular mountains.
